About You: You can work under pressure and respond to conditions that change quickly. You pride yourself on your professional appearance and good communication protocols. You are an excellent listener, self-possessed and confident enough to achieve the exacting standards required by Chef. You are curious and inspired to achieve your best by receiving feedback and you embrace the opportunity to learn from others. Your previous work mates and friends tell you that your cool temperament and grace under pressure is an inspiration to them. You have a sense of humor that others remark upon and appreciate. You have experience in station prep and work service through a la minute cooking and plating and take pride in maintaining a well-organized workspace. PASTRYASSISTANT Strict expectations for reliable availability on a part time schedule to be determined in advance as required; part time shifts will typically align with those of the Pastry Cook. Competitive hourly pay that is consistent with fine dining standards is available for this part time role. We are willing to train a serious novice that is passionate about pursuing a career in Pastry.
